Where do the fuel prices come from?

Official prices are sourced from the UK Government Fuel Price Transparency Initiative, updated every 15 minutes. Community-reported prices are submitted by NiFuelFinder users and are clearly labelled.

A price shown in the app is wrong — what should I do?

You can report an incorrect price directly from the station detail screen using the "Report Price" button. You can also submit the correct price yourself, which other users can then confirm.

My local station isn't showing in the app

If a station is missing, you can request it to be added from the map screen. Tap the "+" button and submit the station details. We review requests and add verified stations regularly.

How do I remove ads?

You can remove ads with a one-time in-app purchase. Go to Settings in the app and look for the "Remove Ads" option.

I purchased "Remove Ads" but still see ads

Try going to Settings and tapping "Restore Purchase". If the issue persists, please email us with your Apple ID and we'll help resolve it.

Does the app work outside Northern Ireland?

NiFuelFinder is designed specifically for Northern Ireland. Stations near the border in the Republic of Ireland may also appear, with prices shown in euros where applicable.

How does the "True Save" calculator work?

It calculates whether driving to a cheaper station is actually worth it, taking into account the extra distance, your vehicle's fuel efficiency, and the price difference. It shows you the real saving after fuel costs for the detour.
