By using NiFuelFinder (the "Service"), including the iOS app and website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

NiFuelFinder displays fuel prices at petrol stations in Northern Ireland. Prices are sourced from the UK Government Fuel Price Transparency Initiative and from community submissions. The Service is provided free of charge with optional in-app purchases.

Accuracy of Information

While we strive to display accurate and up-to-date fuel prices, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information displayed. Prices are sourced from third-party data and community reports, and may not reflect the current price at a station. Always confirm the price at the pump before filling up.

The "True Save" calculator provides estimates based on the information you provide (vehicle efficiency, fuel prices, distances). These are approximations and should not be relied upon as precise financial calculations.

Community Contributions

You may submit fuel prices, station reports, and other information through the Service. By doing so, you agree that your submissions are truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge. You must not submit false, misleading, or spam content. We reserve the right to remove any community submissions at our discretion.

Community-submitted prices are displayed separately from official data and are clearly labelled. They are not verified by NiFuelFinder unless otherwise indicated.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to access the backend API outside of normal app or website use; submitting false price reports or station data; interfering with the operation of the Service; or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual Property

The NiFuelFinder name, logo, app design, and website design are the property of the NiFuelFinder team. Fuel price data is sourced from the UK Government and is subject to the Open Government Licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without permission.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NiFuelFinder and its operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to incorrect price information, navigation errors, or vehicle cost calculations.

Third-Party Services

The Service uses Apple Maps for map display and directions. Your use of Apple Maps is subject to Apple's terms of service. The Service communicates with servers hosted by IONOS. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom.
